Join or Renew Your GFCA Membership

The Greater Farmland Civic Association is a volunteer organization composed of neighbors dedicated to community enhancement and engagement. To further these goals, we collect member dues based on one membership per household address. Owners and renters are all welcome; we are one community.

Cost:
Dues are $35 per household address for a full calendar year. Our membership drive for each year begins in the late fall to December 31 for the upcoming year.  Pay your dues for 1, 2 or 3 years.

How to Pay Dues:​
Online option 1: Log into the GFCA directory at GFCA.membershiptoolkit.com. If you don't have an account,  you can create one. Follow the prompts to purchase the membership length of your choice using your credit card or PayPal. Your membership renewal will be automatically reflected in the directory.

Online option 2: Click Head to Check Out below. You can choose the number of years of your membership and pay with a credit card or PayPal. Your new membership will expire 12/31/2025, 12/31/2026, or 12/31/2027,
​depending on the number of years you choose to pay.

Greater Farmland Pollinator Patch yard sign

The Pollinator Patch yard sign is available for any households that are planting, growing, or expanding native, pollinator-friendly plants and are not using pesticides. The yard sign is 8"x10", outdoor-ready, and can be posted at the curbside to show your participation in encouraging eco-friendly gardening. Your patch can be any size!
Snail Mail or direct delivery: Mail a check, payable to GFCA for $35, $70, or $105, to Emily Mintz, GFCA Membership, 6712 Sulky Lane, N. Bethesda, MD 20852.  You can also put your check through Emily's mail slot. Please allow time for us to manually update your membership and deposit your check. ​
 What do your dues support?
  1. Newsletter creation, printing, and postage
  2. Landscaping of common areas, such as traffic circles, including mulch, plants and maintaining the community bulletin board
  3. Community online and print directory
  4. Special events, which have included the Fourth of July Parade and Home Decorating, Community Yard Sale, Community Day, Halloween Parade, and Winter-on-the-Farm party
  5. Community representation at local and county meetings on matters from transportion to education
  6. Room rental at the elementary school for civic association meetings
  7. Maintenance of the community website, email accounts, and the community Facebook page
  8. Flyers, signs and mailings to alert the community of meetings and events
  9. Event liability insurance and insurance coverage for board members
  10. Block party support
  11. Welcome packets for new neighbors
