Senior Village

Do you need a ride to the grocery store or to the doctor’s office?  Do you need help with the laundry or the computer? Do you need a friendly visitor? Are you a very independent person who has gotten along just fine by yourself, thank you, but, you know, maybe it would be nice to get together with others in the neighborhood?

The Greater Farmland Village seeks to help neighbors remain in their homes (age in place) by providing services by neighborhood volunteers.  Whatever it is—trash removal, language translation, paperwork assistance, etc.—we have volunteers, or will find someone near you to help.  We also have periodic social activities because—old or young—human beings are social animals.
